Stir-fry Basil Pork

Ingredients:
500g Pork Slices 
1 Tablespoon D'Palate Garlic Powder
1 Tablespoon Corn Flour
½ Tablespoon Sugar
1 Tablespoon Dried Basil 
1 Tablespoon Light Soya Sauce
2 Tablespoon Fish Sauce

METHOD
1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and leave for 5mins.
2. Heat up 2 tablespoons of oil in wok. Add in all the ingredients and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
3. Add in ½ cup water and simmer until pork is cooked over medium-low heat.
4. Season to taste with fish sauce.

 

Dried Basil is aromatic and it's a staple in my kitchen cabinet so I cook this dish on days when I am unable to get hold of fresh basil. You can substitute with fresh basil if you have fresh basil in your kitchen. The taste is really appealing with kids and my son always ask for more helpings whenever I cook this dish. It's easy and really fast to whip up with ingredients that are staples in my kitchen.
