Salted Black Bean Chicken
Ingredients:
600g chicken (cut into small pieces)
6 slices of yellow ginger
2 stalks of spring onion
2 tablespoon "Shaoxing" wine
500ml water
Marinade:
1 teaspoon of D'Palate Garlic Powder
1 tablespoon of D'Palate Chicken Powder
1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
1 tablespoon of salted black bean (mashed)
1 tablespoon of liquid from salted bean
1 teaspoon of dark soya sauce
1 teaspoon of sugar
½ teaspoon of light soya sauce
Method:
1. Marinate the chicken with sauces from Marinade list for at least an hour(skip the marinating if you are pressed for time).
2. Heat up 2 tablespoon of oil. Add in ginger and spring onion when oil is hot and stir fry for 2 mins.
3. Add in marinated chicken, 500ml water and Shaoxing wine.
4. Simmer for 25 to 30mins until chicken is cooked. Season with light soya sauce to taste.
