Nourishing ABC Soup (Potato Carrot Soup)

Ingredients:
200g Pork Ribs
100g Lean Pork
1 Carrot (Diced)
1 Stalk Celery (Thinly Sliced)
2 Potatoes (Diced)
1 Yellow Onion (Thinly Sliced)
1 Tomato (Cut To Wedge)
2 Slices Ginger
1 Tablespoon D’Palate Anchovy Food Powder
1 Teaspoon D’Palate Garlic Food Powder
5 Cups Water

Method:
1. Rinse pork bones and carefully remove any shattered bones that might stick onto meat. Prepare a pot of boiling water and blanch pork bones & lean pork for 3mins.
2. Add all the pork bones, pork ribs, water and all the ingredients into a claypot and boil on medium high heat for 10mins. Stir to make sure bottom of pot is not burnt.
3. Simmer on low heat for at least 2hrs. Season to taste with salt.

 

Note: If you are cooking this in a thermal pot, reduce water to 4cups.
