Asian Nourishing Lotus Root Soup
Ingredients:
2 Sections Lotus Root (Sliced)
250g Pork Ribs
3 Dried Scallops
1 Dried Cuttlefish (Cut Into Pieces)
6 Dried Red Dates (Remove The Seeds And Cut Into Halves)
1 Carrot (Chunked)
½ Teaspoon D’Palate Anchovy Powder
Method:
- Blanch pork ribs in boiling water for 3mins and rinsed with water to remove blood and scums.
- Add all the ingredients into a clay pot(including pork ribs), add in 6 cups of water and boil on high heat for 15mins.
- Turn the fire down and simmer on low heat for 2hours or more.
- Season to taste with salt. (Skip the salt if you are cooking for children)
